Stove Brick

Vermiculite Brick Cut to Suit Your Stove

Aftermarket Stove Brick – High‑performance vermiculite fire bricks, custom cut to fit a wide range of wood burning stoves and multi-fuel stoves. These replacement stove bricks are aftermarket parts and are not manufactured or supplied by the original stove brand. Any reference to stove brands or stove models is used solely for stove compatibility, reference, and identification purposes.

Each vermiculite stove brick is 25 mm thick and is precisely processed in-house at Inspired Interiors for a reliable, accurate fit in the stove firebox. The vermiculite board is sourced in Europe and offers premium durability, insulation, and high heat resistance, unlike some lower-grade fire bricks imported from the Far East and marketed as premium products.

What are the bricks made from and why are they needed?

Made from Vermiculite, these stove bricks are lightweight, heat-resistant panels designed to line the interior of wood-burning and multi-fuel stoves. Made from compressed vermiculite, they help protect the stove body from intense heat, improve combustion efficiency, and reflect warmth back into the firebox. Durable yet easy to cut and replace, vermiculite bricks support cleaner burning, better heat output, and longer stove life.

What is Vermiculite?

Vermiculite is a naturally occurring mineral that forms deep within the Earth’s crust when biotite or phlogopite mica is altered by heat, pressure, and hydrothermal activity. Over millions of years, this geological process creates layered, water-rich crystals that expand dramatically when heated. First commercially recognized in the early 20th century, vermiculite’s unique ability to exfoliate into lightweight, fire-resistant granules led to its widespread use in construction, horticulture, and industrial applications.
